Purpose

This document outlines the internal actions and external links that appear on the Member Account page. It is intended to assist the Salesforce Experience conversion team in building out the necessary functionalities within Salesforce.

Testing vs. Production Domains

For QA systems, replace any "aanp.org" domain with "aanpqa.com". For example:

Special Cases:

The pattern follows https://www.aanp.org/advocacy/{state-name}. For example, Texas would be https://www.aanp.org/advocacy/texas. For states with spaces, use dashes instead of spaces (e.g., new-york).

District of Columbia = district-of-columbia
U.S. Virgin Islands = u-s-virgin-islands

Notes from video

Continuous Membership: Breaks in membership reset the "continuous member since" date, reflecting only uninterrupted membership periods.
Member Type Transitions: Users transitioning from one membership type to another (e.g., from student to NP member) retain their "continuous member since" date as long as there’s no break in membership.
Auto Renewal Flexibility: Future enhancements may allow users to cancel or modify products related to their auto-renewal, providing more control over their memberships.
Credit Card Verification: The $0.00 transaction ensures the credit card validity, and a reference transaction number is generated for future payments.
Address & Phone Consolidation: Address fields have been consolidated into a single preferred address, and phone numbers are unified.
